WW1 Imperial German feldmutze. Bavaria issue, nicely marked to the 13th infantry Regt, along with the original soldiers name. Ink stamped size '54', there is a red stitched cross which I believe denotes his religion as Catholic.

Very good German M15 pickelhaube cover. Faintly maker marked and dated 1915, the cover retains all of its attachment hooks. Leather reinforced cut-outs for the chinstrap.
Sadly the detachable spike cover is now absent, helmets by this stage of the war were often worn with the spike removed in the front line.  read more
