A British military issue hand held clinometer, used for measuring angles, depression and elevation for a range of applications such as M.G fire etc.
Very high standard of pre-war workmanship, blued steel body with brass fittings maker Marked 'Short & Mason Ltd London 1910' Leather case maker marked ' J.B Brooks & Co Ld 1910' Both items bear the W.D broad arrow. No damage, however the small glass side 'window' is now absent.
